Welcome to GF: Dawnfall

GF: Dawnfall is a world built to enjoy adventure, exploration, competition and cooperation between players.

Our aim is to offer an entertaining, balanced, safe and respectful experience for everyone in the community.

By registering, accessing the game or participating in our official channels, you agree to follow these rules.

They apply to all players regardless of level, time in the community, financial contributions, guild position or relationship with the administrative team.

1. Respect and coexistence

Respect between players is essential to a healthy community.

Treat other players politely, including when you disagree.
Serious insults, threats, intimidation, discrimination, hate speech and repeated harassment are not allowed.
Offensive remarks targeting nationality, gender, sexual orientation, religion or other personal characteristics are prohibited.
Do not encourage others to harass, pursue or humiliate community members.
Game-related arguments and rivalries are allowed as long as they do not turn into personal attacks.
Avoid deliberately creating conflict in public channels.

Remember: behind every character is a person who deserves respect.

2. Fair play and fair competition

Achievements in GF: Dawnfall should result from each player's dedication, skill and effort.

The following are strictly prohibited:

Hacks, cheats, bots, unauthorized automation macros or tools providing unfair advantages.
Modifying the game client, memory, communication packets or files for unauthorized benefits.
Manipulating statistics, speeds, cooldowns, damage, movement or other mechanics.
Programs that automate combat, resource gathering or obtaining rewards.
Exploiting system errors to duplicate items, currency or resources.
Fraudulently manipulating rankings, events or results.
Deliberately interfering with servers or related services.

Report any vulnerability or abnormal behavior to the administrative team through official channels.

Discovering a bug is not an offense. Deliberately exploiting it for an advantage is.

3. Bugs, exploits and vulnerabilities

Technical errors can occur even in carefully developed systems.

If you find a bug affecting the economy, characters, items or server stability:

Report it through official channels.
Avoid reproducing it unnecessarily.
Do not disclose it publicly when doing so could facilitate abuse.
Do not share instructions for exploiting it.
Do not keep or distribute benefits obtained by exploiting it.

Administrators may remove items, currency, rewards or progress obtained through misuse of bugs. Serious cases may result in permanent suspension of the accounts involved.

4. Trading and the game economy

GF: Dawnfall's economy must operate legitimately and transparently.

Player trades must use the systems enabled in the game.
Deception, impersonation or fraudulent methods to obtain items or currency are prohibited.
Selling or buying accounts, characters, currency or items for real money outside systems expressly authorized by GF: Dawnfall is not allowed.
Advertising illegitimate resource sale, exchange or transfer services is prohibited.
Bugs and duplication mechanisms must not be used to alter the economy.
Players are responsible for carefully reviewing each trade before confirming it.

Administrators may investigate suspicious transactions and take action where sufficient evidence of fraud or exploitation exists.

5. Accounts and security

Every player is responsible for protecting their credentials and account security.

Do not share your password with other players.
Do not try to access other people's accounts.
Stealing, selling, exchanging or fraudulently taking accounts is prohibited.
Do not use false identities to impersonate administrators, moderators or official representatives.
Avoid suspicious downloads promising in-game advantages.
Do not distribute fake websites designed to steal credentials.

GF: Dawnfall staff will never ask for your password.

Multiple accounts or clients must comply with officially established technical limits and conditions. Voluntarily sharing an account means accepting security risks and does not guarantee recovery of lost items or resources.

6. Chats and communication channels

Game chats, community spaces and official channels must be used responsibly.

The following are not allowed:

Spam, flooding or repetitive messages that disrupt communication.
Malicious, fraudulent or dangerous links.
Promoting servers, commercial services or external projects without authorization.
Sexually explicit, extremely violent or illegal content.
Sharing other people's private information without consent.
Impersonating players or official staff.
Using public channels to organize attacks, harassment or smear campaigns.

Constructive criticism, suggestions and negative opinions are allowed. How they are expressed matters.

You may challenge a decision without personally attacking the person who made it.

7. Characters, names and guilds

Creating characters and guilds is part of the game's identity, with necessary limits.

Names, emblems or descriptions must not:

Contain discriminatory insults or hate speech.
Pretend to belong to the administrative team.
Be used to harass or humiliate others.
Include sexually explicit content or extremely offensive references.
Deliberately confuse the community through impersonation.

Administrators may request or carry out changes to names that break these rules.

8. PvP, events and competitive activities

Player combat is a legitimate part of GF: Dawnfall. Rivalries, defeats and victories belong to the competitive experience within the established mechanics and rules.

Follow each event's particular conditions.
Do not use external tools for an advantage.
Do not manipulate results or rewards through fraudulent agreements where event rules prohibit them.
Do not impersonate participants or illegitimately interfere with competitions.
Do not exploit map or system bugs to reach restricted areas or avoid intended mechanics.

Competitive actions allowed by the game are not, by themselves, an offense. Specific event rules take precedence concerning that event's operation.

9. Relations with the administrative team

GF: Dawnfall staff work to maintain the project's stability, security and operation.

Treat administrators, moderators and contributors respectfully.
Follow official instructions concerning security and compliance with the rules.
Do not submit false evidence to harm other players.
Do not seek privileges through pressure, threats or misleading information.
Use official channels for complaints, reports and assistance requests.

No player receives disciplinary immunity for donations, authorized benefit purchases or personal relationships with staff.

The rules apply equally to everyone.

10. Privacy and data protection

Respecting other members' privacy is mandatory.

Publishing, fraudulently requesting or sharing without authorization other players' personal information is prohibited, including passwords, addresses, phone numbers, identity documents and private conversations.

Threats to expose personal information and intimidation using data obtained outside the game are also prohibited.

11. Reports and complaints

If you witness an offense, report it to the administrative team through the available official channels.

To assist an investigation, provide where possible:

The character or username involved.
The approximate date and time.
A clear description of what happened.
Screenshots, videos or other relevant evidence, when available.

Do not publish private information or organize campaigns against reported players. Reports are assessed according to available evidence and the seriousness of the conduct. Deliberately false or manipulated reports may also be sanctioned.

12. Disciplinary measures and sanctions

Breaches may lead to measures proportionate to the seriousness of the conduct, repetition and available evidence.

Possible measures include:

Warning: formal notice of inappropriate conduct.
Communication restriction: temporary suspension from particular chats or channels.
Temporary suspension: blocking account access for a specified period.
Removal of illegitimate benefits: deleting resources, items, rewards or progress obtained through offenses.
Permanent suspension: definitive loss of account access where justified by the case's seriousness.

Serious sanctions may be imposed without prior warnings for deliberate cheating, large-scale exploitation, fraud, threats, infrastructure attacks or serious security breaches.

Decisions must be based on consistent criteria and the available information.

13. Appeals and sanction review

Players may request review of a sanction through official support channels. Appeals must explain the facts clearly and include evidence that allows review where appropriate.

An appeal does not mean the sanction will be overturned. Requests must be respectful; harassing staff will not speed up resolution.

14. Rule updates

GF: Dawnfall may amend these rules when necessary to improve community relations, respond to new situations or protect the game's integrity.

Material changes will be announced through official channels and reflected here. The update date identifies the current version.
